| From July 3 to 11th, I had a great visit from Arne and Hege Berg,
and their cute little boy, Mathias. It was a pleasure to have them here! I did my best to show them
as much of the state as possible in the short time they were here (with just a few unscheduled
detours). We spent 1/2 a day at temple square in downtown Salt Lake and the other half of the
day in Park City where we saw the Olympics park and the Stein Eriksen Lodge. Next we went south east
to Arches National Park were we spent a very HOT night camping, and took some beautiful hikes early the next morning.
We also took a drive to "dead horse point" before returning to Salt Lake. Other stops on the "Tami Tour"
were the Coppermine (largest in the world), The great Salt Lake (Anelope Island), A tram ride to the top of a mountain,
the zoo (for a little too long) Everything that we did was especially fun because I was with
good friends enjoying the company! |
